About Our Ford F‑1 Small‑Window Headliner Kit

Upgrade your 1948–1950 Ford F‑1 truck’s interior with the Rod Doors Headliner, molded from durable ABS and pretrimmed for a clean, accurate fit. The panels arrive ready for paint, vinyl dye, or upholstery so you can finish them to match your build, and the included quarter panels are cut precisely for small‑window cabs—no trimming required. For chopped‑top trucks, this kit also pairs well with our Chopped Top Adapter Kit to complete your custom look.

You asked for it, so we built it. Drag‑and‑Drive, Autocross, Pro Street, and Resto Mod builders will appreciate the additional room this headliner provides over stock‑type replacements. Our new mold pushes the panel tight against the inner roof skin, gaining an additional 1.5 inches of headroom. That extra space allows you to position your roll cage higher in the cab and provides more clearance for helmets and taller seating positions.

Need a headliner for a large rear window model (1951-1952)? Check out our listing for the large rear window option!

Install Note

To take advantage of this improved fitment, you must be willing to remove the sheet‑metal bracket located in the center of the roof panel. It’s a quick tin‑snips modification that won’t damage a finished cab and makes a noticeable difference in overall space.
