About Our Ford F‑1 Large‑Window Headliner Kit
Upgrade your 1951–1952 Ford F‑1 truck’s interior with the Rod Doors Headliner, pretrimmed specifically for large rear window models. The kit includes quarter panels cut precisely for these cabs, eliminating the need for trimming. The molded ABS panels arrive ready for your personal touch—paint them, vinyl dye them, or upholster them in the material that matches your build. If your truck has a chopped top, you can pair this kit with our Chopped Top Adapter Kit to complete your custom setup.
You asked for it, so we built it. Drag‑and‑Drive, Autocross, Pro Street, and Resto Mod builders will appreciate the additional room this headliner provides over stock‑type replacements. Our new mold pushes the panel tight against the inner roof skin, gaining an additional 1.5 inches of headroom. That extra space allows you to position your roll cage higher in the cab and provides more clearance for helmets and taller seating positions.
Need a headliner for a small rear window model (1948-1950)? Check out our listing for the small rear window option!
Install Note
Note: To take advantage of this improved fitment, you must be willing to remove the sheet‑metal bracket located in the center of the roof panel. It’s a quick tin‑snips modification that won’t damage a finished cab and makes a noticeable difference in overall space.

This headliner is going to look great no ugly screws needed to keep it in place. I had a question about shipping after it was ordered and recieved a call back from Rod Doors and they took the time to walk through the install and some great pointers. Seems like they care about their customer satisfaction
Product came fast looks like it's going to fit
thank you mike for the review!
